The Mesenchymal Stem Cells conference, which will be held in Toulouse from the 18 to the 20th of November 2010, is the first of its kind. It will bring together representatives from various research laboratories that are some of the best in their field of stem cells, both on the conceptual and the technical level.
The aim of the conference is to maintain momentum, networks, transfers of skills as well as to establish a link between the molecular mechanisms which govern development and the isolation of the stem cells and the clinical applications which could result from this, as suggested by the many works published by both the scientific and medical communities.
Organized in the Pierre Baudis Congress Centre, in downtown Toulouse, the conference offers an ideal work platform for the scientists who can easily arrive at the venue by various means of transport (subway, bus, walk).
The Pierre Baudis centre was selected for several key reasons:
1 - Its reception capacity,
2 - The quality of its infrastructure and its expertise in organizing conferences,
3 - Its geographical location.
An amphitheatre equipped with 500 seats will make it possible to accommodate the 250 to 300 congressmen which the scientific committee is attempting to bring together on this occasion.
A gala evening, organized for November 19 in the Space Museum (Cité de l'Espace) in Toulouse, will make it possible for the congressmen to enjoy a good time in a scientific environment of high value.
The cost of attending this event is 380€ (250€ for students + a 50€ fee for the gala dinner) and includes access to the entire conference, all written documents, breaks, such as lunch, and the gala evening in the Space Museum.
The registration fee for the pre-event sponsored by the INSERM (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale), on November 17th, is 40€ but free for those who have registered for the European Conference, November 18-20th. Those who would like to attend the French Symposium should notify the MSC Organizing Committee by sending an e-mail (see 'contact us')
Reservations can be made on line until November 14th by clicking on the link below. Registration cancellation can be made without taxes until October 12, but after this a 50% tax will be applied.
