The First European Conference on Mesenchymal Stem Cells will include two and a half days of plenary conferences as well as dedicated rooms and/or schedules reserved for displaying posters and oral presentations.

The scientific committee will select around one hundred posters that will be displayed at the rate of fifty each day over the first two days in the large conference room that will be dedicated to breaks and lunches.

The following is a list of keywords and topics for each presentation:

MSC : General biology
MSC : Origin
MSC : Characterization
MSC : Niche
MSC : Immunology
MSC : Tissue repair and regeneration
MSC : Biomaterials
MSC : Production and controls
MSC : Clinical trials

Authors must select one or two categories and mark them off on the list.

The scientific committee will select 11 of the abstracts for oral presentations, which will be spread out over the three days of the conference. The abstracts must display original work which will not have been published at the time of selection. Abstracts must be innovative and fit in with the topics of the First European Conference on Mesenchymal Stem Cells. To be eligible for the prize, all applicants must be doctoral or post-doctoral students with less than four years' experience after receiving their PhD.

Guide to the abstract

The deadline for submitting an abstract to the scientific committee is November 3rd at 6pm.
The format of the abstract must meet the following requirements:
The author must specify if the abstract is intended to be an oral presentation, a poster only or if he/she has no preference.
The abstract must contain a title, the name of the first author as well as his/her affiliations (institution/university/hospital/industry), city and country.
The abstract must be limited to 250 words. It must not contain tables, figures or references.
Any abstract that does not meet the criteria listed above will not be reviewed.

Prize from the European Conference on Mesenchymal Stem Cells

On November 20th, after all 11 oral presentations have been completed, the scientific committee will reward the best presentation with a prize of 1,000 Euros (One thousand Euros). The prize winner will be selected by a vote from all committee members.
